This is a modified propaganda poster of the Spanish Civil War; it originally showed a “miliciana” (female member of the Republican militia) who tried to persuade the audience to join the Milicia. I added the picture of two more milicianas, which I took from a well-known photo of the era. The three of them now wear the Pussy Riot iconic colored balaclavas; instead of a rifle, she brandishes a microphone. The texts means “Pussy Riot needs you!”. The idea came from the “¡No pasarán!” T-shirt that Nadezhda Tolokonnikova wore during the trial
